Colouring rainbows

We have coloured lovely rainbows.

We used the correct colours

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

We also talked about leprechauns and finding pots of gold at the ends of the rainbow.

Mixing colours

We know how to mix colours:

Mix yellow and blue for green

Mix red and yellow for orange

Mix red and blue for purple
Mix red and white for pink
Mix red and blue and yellow
and you'll get brown I think

Why don't you mix some colours?
Mix two or three or four
You might just mix a colour

Autumn leaves are a falling

Here are our Autumn Leaves collages:

 

The crocodile pool

We played a great game today.

We spread some imaginary stones (mats) around the crocodile pool.

Each child had to think of 5 good things about themselves as they jumped from pool to pool. (When anyone got a bit stuck, everyone else helped them think of good things).

Anyone who made it to the far side of the pool without being eaten by a crocodile became a super hero.  We now have lots of super heros in our class!

Fashionable teddies

In our art class today we had fun colouring, cutting and sticking.

We dressed our teddies in lovely clothes.

Music in our classroom

We love music.

Today we had fun using some of the class instruments.

Printing with apples

   We painted lovely apple trees.

We used real apples (windfalls) to print apples on our trees.

Our trees look quite real
