Len (our sets and props expert) has very kindly given us a bag of used lighting acetates which we can use for art - don't you just love recycling? Today we made really nice paintings of beach scenes.
We used the acetates as sails for our boats, as sun umbrellas, and even as an ice-cream.
We wanted the sand in our pictures to look and feel like sand so we mixed white, orange, and yellow paint with sand from our sand pit. The sand on our pictures is perfect!
There will be a nice surprise for our Dads when they see their Father's Day cards on Sunday. Have a great weekend Dads.
