Last music class with Marsha

The children finished up with Marsha last Thursday.
They absolutely loved their Music Lessons with her and have learned so many fun new songs and games and musical ideas.It was really lovely having her as a music teacher this year.
And we loved having Elsie the elephant too :)

Ethnic clay objects

The children made clay objects from the cartoon Kirikou.They did wonderful work.

Art with ten sticks

The chidlren counted out ten sticks and made whatever they liked with them.They came up with great ideas- Batman,rockets,shooting stars,people,fans......

Papier mache ladybirds

We love bugs and insects.

We covered yoghurt pots and clay balls with newspaper soaked in flour and water.

This is called papier mache.

Today we finished our ladybirds by painting them and sticking on their eyes.

They look really nice.

School mural

Day 1:

Today Lol arrived at our school to start working on the mural in the corridor. He is a very talented artist who will guide us in design and painting. We'll keep the plan a secret at the moment but check out this blog each evening to see our progress!!!
