Snake spirals

The Chinese Year of the Snake is fast approaching.

This year Sunday 10th February is Chinese New Year.

Today we painted snake spirals. Teacher has something in mind for these snakes.

We have been busy in First Class since we came back to school in January. On the 15th of January, we went to Leisureland to a concert given by the R.T.É. Concert Orchestra. The conductor's name was Gearóid Grant and he was very funny! We saw and heard all the instruments of the orchestra. It was great!

Sr. Breda came to visit us last week. She asked us questions about the Christmas story, and we sang songs for her. We were so good that she said we could have a night off homework! We were listening to stories about little beings, so for Art last week, each of us made our own little being! You can see the photos here.
