Rhythm game

We are playing rhythm games in Music.

They are a lot of fun.

We tried cats and kittens before, but today it was the turn of the ducks and ducklings!

Pop up flowers

We have made some pop up flowers.

They can grow even without water!

They also look gorgeous!

Vases of flowers and candle holders

We were very busy at art today.

We coloured some lovely vases of flowers and we made very cute candle holders which we have yet to paint.

I wonder is there any occasion coming soon?

Piet Mondrian

We were learning about primary colours. We used them to mix secondary colours- green, orange and purple! Then we looked at the work of Piet Mondrian, a famous artist, and painted pictures just like his- with straight lines and lots of primary colours!

Super seahorses

We made some great sea horses in art today.

We might use them as pencil tops or as cool bookmarks.

St. Patrick's Day badges

We made great badges for St. Patrick's Day.

We hope to wear them (and our headbands) for the parade next Monday.

Headbands for St.Patrick's Day

We painted lovely headbands.

We will be able to wear these at the parade.

We also had fun with our St. Patrick puzzle booklets.

We love clapping out patterns as we sing the tune to Twinkle Twinkle.
